MAKING THE RIGHT CHOICES ABOUT DRUGS AND ALCOHOL

At some point, you'll be faced with this decision - you can choose to do drugs or choose to do everything else.

The next time you judge what's cool and what' not, think about which of these two people you would rather be like in life.

If you're approached by someone who wants to sell you drugs, walk away and then tell a grown up what's happened.

If you have a friend who is abusing drugs or alcohol, talk to them and try and get them to get help. In the end, you may not succeed in helping them to stop, but at least you tried.

When you abuse drugs, you're hurting yourself and the people who you care about too.

There two different kinds of drugs - ones that make you feel better when you're sick and ones that are bad for you. Remember to ask your parent or guardian which is which: they know best.

Don't let anyone decide for you, your choices about the drugs and alcohol. You're in charge of your own body and what goes into it. So make your own choices and be true to you and what you know is right.

Remember when you take drugs, you're taking your life into your own hands.

Your brain is a marvel of technology, and one of the most precious gifts you've been given. Don't abuse your brain with drugs - it needs to last you for a lifetime.
