There is no question that poor self-esteem is a common contributor to many of the challenges our young people face as they grow up. Children need to learn to recognize and identify their feelings, both positive and negative, recognize the differences that exist for boys and girls with reference to this topic, and be provided with tools to help them recognize their strengths and abilities.

The following lesson plans, based on Concerned Children's Advertisers' self-esteem commercials, will assist you in working through this issue with your students.
