Having a Voice in Your Child's Viewing Experience:
Steps to Follow when Expressing Comments or Concerns
As a parent, there are times when we feel that it is our responsibility to voice our concerns about issues that we feel are negatively affecting our children's lives. By the same token, there are times when we want to share our enthusiasm about a new initiative that we feel has positively impacted our children.
The following will guide you through the steps to voice your concerns, comments and questions about your child's television viewing experiences. Think of it as a continuum - start with the first step and move forward as needed, until you are satisfied with your reply.
These organizations are in place to protect your children. Learn about them. Connect with them. Provide them with feedback and input. Take advantage of their knowledge, expertise and true concern for your children.
For concerns or comments related to your child's television viewing experiences, follow the steps below.

Call or write to the broadcaster that aired the program. Clearly express your comments, concerns or questions and request a reply.
