A New Education Component

Get Cracking -- EggsCCA is pleased to announce an exciting development with the Long Live Kids education initiative. With support from both the Canadian Sugar Institute and Egg Farmers of Canada, we are creating a new component called The Science of Food.

Canadian Sugar InstituteWe’re proud to partner with both of these important organizations to provide users with education materials on biology and health. The Science of Food component will feature scientific facts, educational activities, and resources to be used in the classroom and at home.

These specialized education materials will be available through our educational microsite, www.longlivekids.ca/play. Watch for the launch of The Science of Food — coming soon!

awardCCA Wins BRAVO! Award

CCA is the proud recipient of a BRAVO! Award from the Canadian Association of Communicators in Education for our Long Live Kids III educator, parent and community program. Way to go CCA!

CCA Receives Heritage Canada Grant

Heritage CanadaUnder the Enhancement of Official Languages program, Assistance for Interpretation and Translation component, CCA has received a grant from Heritage Canada to help carry out the development of a bilingual website for the organization. The website will reside at our new bilingual URL, www.cca-arpe.ca. The English portion of the site is currently up and running and the French component will make its debut in early 2011.
